Well logged in today and saw 10% colony tax, had a good laugh. I don't know whose idea was it but if the intention is to draw others to come and contest colonies well it won't work. Why? Because the people capable of contesting colonies are unaffected by it as it is just a small portion of their earnings and many of them don't even afk farm in low level-fields...
What its actually doing is slowing the progress for newcomers in an already hard to progress and unpopular game. Not to mention with the inflating prices, how will these newcomers gear up to be able active farm or afk farm in higher level fields. I'm not really affected by the tax rates but some of my fact members are and i feel sorry for them.
If you guys really want competition, you should stop monopolizing the market so that others can gear up and contest. Only a retard will bother pvping with crappy gears. Unlike what you think there's only a small population of people who will bother to pvp. Just look at how many pve only factions are. Restricting competition in an already small pool of pvp-goers is just asking for a no contest. Boring for you guys isn't it. Alternatively, SB/Athena/404 can just break their alliance and we can watch sparks fly.
