X-Trap Error after Windows 10 Fall Creators Update

So right after installing the Windows 10 Fall Creators Update (which started rolling out a few days ago), I've been getting the following X-trap error upon launching the game.

Anyone else who updated also experiencing this?

I remember one of the previous major W10 updates had a similar conflict with X-Trap.

    Hello fish,

Please check this thread to check if you aren't running any program that uses to lead to X-Trap errors.

If you can't find a solution, try the following:
    1. Delete your X-Trap folder.
    2. Update your Direct X.
    3. Open client by "Run as Admin" (right click on ge.exe > Run as Admin).

If the problem persist after trying that, please send us a Support ticket and we will try to find the solution.

    Thank you,

    1. Open start.
    2. Type "Regedit" into search box.
    3. Delete every register which are related to "Granado espada"
    4. Restart your PC then get "BLUE SCREEN OF DEAD"
    5. Enjoy your game.
    6. Repeat from step 1 every time you close GE.

I renamed my GE folder and that worked instead.

This specific error code wasn't in there. No programs are running that weren't before the Fall Creators Update. I'm guessing it's just something in the Windows Update that isn't compatible with the old version of X-trap we're using.

Thanks. This works for me too.
Nothing changed to make games not work. But anti cheat engine programs have issued detecting system, Graphics Driver & memory management updates and Windows Changed the entire WDDM on the Fall update, this will happen every year with MS's yearly update.

@Kateesha, if you upgrade to the latest windows 10 version (1709) you will get this error. I suggest to go roll back the version.
@GMs has this error been fixed yet?
