Prefix is right because these hybrids cannot be optimized properly with one primary stat so less efficiency when gearing. Some hybrids like Rachel uses one stat for normal attacks while spells uses both and then averaged. Eg[(dex+agi multiplier)*pistol+(int multiplier)*book]/2 and others like liung an average of both. So essentially each stat increase is half of its effectiveness compared to other stances if they are of different weapons types. Mireille was only good during a period because she had a much higher stance base than its competitors at that time to compensate for her stat inefficiencies.

- Leavin/Mirelle - very high pvp dmg with good protection.
- Mia - not good dmg, but imba for controling single enemy. 1 vs 1 pvp char.
- Rachel - very high pve dmg.
- Adriana - combination of Sabre dmg and Pistol ignore def. Fast ranged skills.
Hybrids mostly pvp chars. Melee + Magic have combination of high def and magic dmg. Mele + Shoot - fast range aoes, high def. Yes, their stats are mixed, but such chars always had specific playstyle. Its not Nar, there are need skill to play.
" Satis Faction "
Adelina's ultimate is insta cast and with imba range... *sigh*
As for Adriana, I wonder if Cadet Adriana will get the stance as well. Personally, I like her stance more. Although, that AoE skill where she hits around herself could have more range. It's almost like Veil's Butterfly. But i guess it could be worse= Lionheart skill from MMA Chap. of Earth.
Game balance is a delicate issue and minor changes in multipliers, attribute values, skill effects or whatever may completely change the meta, and then the chars you mentioned may become bad too, while some random char could become the new "MMA".
What people here are trying to say is that being hybrid doesn't make a char inherently bad, even though all hybrids may be bad right now.
(point being, you can't say the new stance is gonna suck just because it is a hybrid stance... even though it could very well suck)
